I LOVE EDINBURGH!
I am sure it was a combination of many factors, but I love this city! It was amazing weather while I was there, I had the opportunity to teach (in a way) and the city really reminded me of Seattle. The people are so friendly and very outdoorsy. So many people own bikes and bike to work and around the city and there are so many parks in the city too. On Saturday afternoon, i took my book and went to the park and relaxed - it was great! I am seriously going to look into moving to Edinburgh if the time and circumstances arise. I definately recommend visiting if you ever have the chance.

Lo
I'm so excited for you and all your travels! I'm really glad you are having so much fun and having so many adventures too! You are looking great!

It is definately a big adventure! For some reason whenever I come back from Scotland, I have problems with transportation! On my way back from Glasgow, I was supposed to fly on Sunday night and I got to the check in desk only to find out that I had accidently made my reservation for Monday night instead. So I had to pay for a whole new flight to get back that night (ridiculously expensive!!!). Then on the way back from Edinburgh, I lost my train ticket between changing trains, and was told that I needed to buy a whole new ticket. Luckily, i out-smarted them...I just went the bathroom and cafe on the train when the ticket man came by on the train. So for all of those European train travelers out there...now you know how to get away with not paying!!!
I want to come see Edinburough!
That is all.
xo!
That is all you want to see? Or that is all for now?
Well, yeah, it is a slightly abridged list. I want to do and see so much it makes my head hurt... I want to see Stonehenge, I want to see sheep in Ireland, I want to buy something plaid in Scotland, I want to see the white cliffs of Dover, I want to drive the chunnel, I want to see land preserved for gnomes in Iceland, I want to drink beer in Germany..... and that's just the start!!
ha! ps! I'm trying to figure out what date I's gonna come over-- any suggestion as to the best for you in late August?
