Newquay (pronounced new-key)

So after a night in Brighton, we hopped in the car and drove 5.5 hours to the West coast of the country, to the bit that sticks out towards the US, to Newquey for the night. It was such a cute little surfer city with amazing beaches and great weather. Unfortunatly we picked a scary hostel, but it didn't dampen the trip.

We walked along the beach on Sunday (Easter) morning and found that the locals had set up an easter egg hunt for the kids. Burried the eggs in the sand - that is what that dark spot is in the sand in the picture. I think the parents had way more fun digging for the eggs than the kids did.

I hope that you saw more of Cornwall (my home county) than just Newquay! It's not the best part of this beautiful county - but I guess it's fun for some nights out!!!!!
